Why a Campus Tour Matters

Choosing a school for your child is about so much more than a brochure or a website. A campus tour lets you experience the school the way your child will — up close, in real time, and with all five senses.

You can feel the atmosphere.
Every school has its own energy. On a tour, you'll notice how students greet each other in the hallway, how teachers speak to their classes, and whether the classrooms feel warm and alive. That feeling is hard to describe on paper, but you'll recognize it the moment you walk in.

You see learning in action.
Instead of reading about a curriculum, you watch it happen — students engaged in lessons, asking questions, and working together. You get a real sense of how teachers connect with their students and how each child is known and cared for.

Your child gets a voice, too.
Bringing your child along lets them picture themselves there: sitting at a desk, playing on the playground, meeting future friends. A child who feels comfortable on a tour walks into the first day of school with confidence, not uncertainty.

You get honest answers.
A tour is a conversation, not a presentation. You can ask about academics, faith life, athletics, safety, and daily routines — and hear directly from the people who live it every day. The questions you didn't know you had tend to surface naturally as you walk the campus.

You see the community.
A school is a community your whole family joins. A tour shows you the families, teachers, and staff your child will grow up alongside — the people who will cheer them on, pray with them, and help shape who they become.

We would love to welcome you to International Christian Academy and show you around in person. Come see the classrooms, meet our teachers, and experience a day in the life of our students — we'd love to meet your family.
