International Christian Academy participates competitively in the Red Rock Athletic Conference, which provides two brackets: “5th-6th grade” and “7th-8th grade” (3rd and 4th-grade students are welcome to try out and play up). The number of teams and level of competition are determined after tryouts for each sport.

We believe participation in a sport helps children grow relationally and physically, and ICA is an excellent place for children to start their student-athlete journey.  ICA coaches and staff help develop the growth and success of our student-athletes by developing a competitive mindset and encouraging them to push themselves mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  All the while instilling in them an appreciation for the talent God has given them.

Luke Toms is the K-8 Athletic Director and Physical Education Teacher for International Christian Academy.

Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, Luke played collegiate baseball at Motlow State Community College in Tennessee, where he achieved an Associate Degree in Sports Recreation. He then graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports Recreation from Lee University.  While at Lee University, he achieved multiple Student-Athlete Honors and All-Conference Team honors.

His ultimate goal is to help student-athletes achieve their personal goals academically as well as athletically. He will work closely with the school administration and the coaching staff to provide guidance and direction for the sports programming through hands-on leadership and support.
